A free service provided to veterans in Rockdale County was highlighted Tuesday at the Board of Commissioners regular meeting.
Chairman Oz Nesbitt Sr. reminded residents that the Eagle Transport Van, part of the Veterans Transportation Program (VetTP), is in place to take honorably discharged veterans in Rockdale County to appointments at the Atlanta VA Medical Hospital in Decatur or to VA clinics in Covington, Stockbridge and Lawrenceville.
