Hundreds of cancer patients in northwestern Arkansas have access to free transportation to treatment centers thanks to Hope Cancer Resources, a nonprofit professional support and education organization based in Springdale.
In the past year alone, Hope’s fleet of eight white and blue vans chalked up 312,000 miles driving patients to and from their appointments at Highlands Oncology Group’s regional network of medical, surgical and radiation treatment centers.
